FAQs

Are your balms suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes — our balms are intentionally formulated for sensitive and compromised skin using simple, nourishing ingredients.

Are they safe to use during pregnancy or on babies?
Tallow balm is generally considered safe for pregnancy and babies. Our unscented balm (BARE) contains no essential oils or whole flower infusions and is suitable for the most sensitive & delicate skin. For other balms in our range, we recommend patch testing and consulting your care provider if unsure.

Does it suit my skin-type?
Yes — our balms are formulated to support all skin types, especially dry, sensitive, or compromised skin. The ingredients we use are gentle, nourishing, and chosen for their ability to restore the skin’s natural barrier. If you're prone to irritation or have specific sensitivities, we recommend starting with our unscented balm (BARE) and patch testing before use.

How long do the balms last?
Each jar lasts 6–12 months if stored in a cool, dry place. Tallow is naturally stable, but please avoid heat and direct sunlight.

How should I store it?
To extend shelf life, store your balm away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place — ideally below 30°C. As our products are all-natural and preservative-free, the texture may vary slightly with the seasons: softer in warmer weather, firmer in cooler months. You can refrigerate, but it is not required.

How & where is it made?
Each balm is handcrafted in the Dandenong Ranges Victoria, using locally sourced grass-fed & finished beef tallow. All other ingredients — including our oils and botanicals — are certified organic (or CPTG), sourced within Australia and are carefully selected for their purity and skin benefits. We make everything in small batches to ensure freshness, quality, and attention to detail in every jar.

Do you ship internationally?
At this stage, we only offer shipping within Australia.
